Hingham Girls Town Basketball
The Hingham Girls Basketball League, aka The G League (formerly G.A.L.S.) provides athletes an in-town opportunity to compete, build friendships, work as a team, and have a blast falling in love with the game of basketball.
The Hingham Girls Basketball Association is excited about a number of new features in this year's league that we're sure you'll love:
- Simplified communication and organization tools via Crossbar
- Consistent in-town schedules that do not overlap with Hingham Girls Travel games
- Improved gym quality and court time
- Referees for Grades 3+
- Playoffs and championships for Grades 3+
- Weekly skills clinics with top-tier outside instructors, called The Lab
- Inaugural WNBA team replica jerseys celebrating the 30th anniversary of professional basketball in America
We're so excited to get the season going. Please register ahead of our October 31st registration deadline to avoid a late registration fee.
If you intend to play Hingham Girls Travel basketball this season, please indicate that in your G League registration. Travel tryout dates will be announced very soon.
The G League is an integral part of our Travel program. All travel players will play in the G League as well.
Ages
The G League offers programs for players grades 1 thorugh 8.
When
G League games are played weekly on Sundays starting in November and running until February or March.
Where
All G League sessions will be held at the high quality gyms inside Hingham Middle School, Hingham High School, Foster Elementary School, East Elementary School, and Derby Academy.
Practices
All players will have an opportunity to practice together either during each session or in the pre-season depending on grade level.
The G League also offers weekly skills clinics with outside club and skill development coaches called The Lab.
Games
Games are played weekly.

The G League is excited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of women's professional basketball in the U.S. with replica inaugural season WNBA jerseys for our players.

Register today for The Hingham Girls Basketball League (our in-town league) and indicate whether your player intends to try out for Hingham Girls Travel Basketball.
Our fall registration period runs through October 31st. Late registrations after October 31st will include a $50 late fee.
